A few things to note...

As anyone on AFF.Net knows, I've been writing Excalion pretty much non-stop. Inspiration has decided to slam its foot down on the brakes and chill from the speeding frenzy it's put me on in order to think about what I deem The SwordBearers Trilogy (Copyright 2008 SFC Omicronus).

Nexus, Book One of my trilogy, is going to go through a somewhat dramatic change. Some have been impressed with my attempt at integrating a whole new alien language, and to be honest, it's that one thing that's holding me back from continuing it. As of its next update, I will change any of the "foreign" language from the story on AFF.Net. It's becoming a huge headache, and, much as people thought it was great to add an alien language to the story, I can't keep it up. I'm sorry for any inconvenience on that front.

Oh, I should note, being a more-than-slight fan of katanas, I should note that any mention of swords within the trilogy (most notably Excalion, since it takes place in a medieval-fantasy setting and swords are the weapon of choice) are actually katanas. I may note as I go on which types of Japanese swords
specifically they are. If any readers are totally lost, please refer to the following links:

The following link is to tvtropes.org, on the trope called
Katanas Are Just Better:

And this link leads to the trope,
Every Japanese Sword Is A Katana:

I use Japanese swords for the most part because of the skill and craftsmanship needed to make the sword, not to mention the discipline, dedication and training just to wield one, let alone use it. I find the sword (both the making of it, as well as the use of it in combat), to be the epitome of discipline, skill, and dedication. You have to be properly honed in mind, body, and soul just to hold one, and I want my characters to earn their right to carry one and use it throughout the course of my story.

That's pretty much it for now. I may consider posting some of my work up on my DeviantArt account, but then again, people I talk to don't really consider the writen word to be an art form.

I'm not dead...yet...

I know it's waaaay too late, but belated Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all. I don't expect people to be reading this blog anymore, heading straight to my AFF.Net profile, but to any that still care to drop by, this post is for you.

I posted another chapter of Internal Affair some time before Christmas, and after finishing the chapter, I had a bit of...soul-searching, let's say, to do. This took up most of my holiday season, and hopefully, I don't have to do any more of that. But enough of my life.

Anyway, where my work is concerned, Internal Affair only has a couple more chapters left. I never expected to get as far as it has (maybe only two or three chapters), nor did I expect it to get the attention it did. At least four thousand hits and several reviews later, I'm rather proud of how it turned out.

I've recently been looking back on Reaching The Stars and I'm going to be redoing it...well, rewriting it in a different section of the Originals section of AFF.Net. Expect to see it in the Erotica section within the next month or so.

Roads Leading Back will be reaching a close soon, as well. Thinking on it, I'm not really sure how much longer I can keep those two apart, and whether or not I really can keep them apart. In any event, the way things are going with the current chapter in progress, they'll find their way back into each other's worlds.

I'd write more, but alas, overnight work beckons, and I need the cash to keep this roof over my head and the perks underneath it as well.
